Official UW Counts (End of Semester)
The most complete UW headcounts due to continuous enrollment throughout the semester, particularly for outreach students.   These counts are used for national publications, federal reports, IPEDS, the Common Data Set, etc.

New Students
New freshmen and transfers attending UW for the first time.

Preliminary UW Counts (Beginning of Semester)
Used for enrollment management reporting. Does not include complete outreach counts of students.
